8 months agoThe OG spot from my childhood still brings me joy to come here and eat. Itโs been amazing seeing the growth over the years as well for the expansion from this place to the one in Burbank which is my other favorite location to visit. This one has a special place since my dad use to be a truck driver who would deliver their chicken. I remember coming here and the owner of the place use to always stand guard and greet everyone with a nod and ready to clean tables for the next guest. They now have a bigger dinner area with many booths which are super comfy. My go to is to order the family meal of a whole chicken, pita bread, hummus, Tabbouleh salad, extra garlic spread, and gotta get baklava for dessert. I like to eat all I can so I can have some leftovers for that snack attack that creeps in later. The staff is friendly and hard working. There is a security guard dedicated in overseeing the parking lot which is nice. There is street parking if itโs full. Itโs usually pretty quick but if they have a line just take a seat and know that your food is coming hot fresh and bursting with flavor. Iโve had pretty much everything on the menu and at this point this place is comfort food.

5 months agoYou must never eat at this restaurant. I often eat at other restaurants of this brand in Los Angeles. The portion here is small and there is one piece of cake missing. Other restaurants give 2 pieces of cake. The clerk said you have to pay extra. Well, never come here again. No wonder there is no one in the store.

3 months agoThe quality of this establishment has drastically reduced over the past year. I ordered two chicken tarna wrap sandwiches, which were served cold. The Pita Bread was abnormally thin, like a tortilla, and fell apart immediately. The meat was extremely over charred and dry. I requested the order be remade and observed the cook using the same meat and vegetables from the original order, then served it us. UNSATISFACTORY.

4 months agoWORST Location Evr... I've Never Been so Insulted in My Life! just walking into a Place... Paying My Money, and being Spoken to like a World Class Slave; as if he owned Me... Yes, I'm referring to the Motor-Mouth, Salt & Pepper Haired idiot, who tried to Control Me since the Moment he laid eyes on Me... Telling Me Where to Stand, when to Sit down, and to Wait over there... that I can Not Stand at, Nor Near the front Counter; as I waited for My Food. When he first told Me to Sit down, and wait for My Food over there, I gave him a "Leave Me Alone look", but he still did Not get the hint; Not to Mention, that he kept Staring at Me as he cooked... So Much so, that he Burned My Chicken Kabob! though I asked him to Make it exactly like the to go orders I saw coming out, which were Carmel Brown like Me! But that was too Much like right. When I saw My Food, it was Burned๐คข... when I asked for a Correction on My Kabobs, he HARD REFUSED to... then told Me I can't have it that way, and Made a Scene in front of other Customers standing Behind Me... He then told the waitress to "REFUND her, her Money"!! With the angry face... I told him, & the Cashier, to hand Me My food I Payed for, and I do Not want the Money back, I want My food! I was just out of Urgent care, and I am in No Mood that late, after Midnight to go anywjere else... I told him I would sing this to ALL of Public, and Nvr encourage ANYONE else to go there. Yeah, he said, he does Not care ๐ค... Then I Left, knowing I would Notify Corp, and the Public, so here.It.goes! Check out the Pics too; as to what a Plate of food should Nvr look Like. As the Kabob tasted like Charcoal...

3 months agoCmonnnn Zankouโฆ.ordered the hummus that is supposed to come with 2 pita which I didnโt receive. Would have ordered the chicken kabob plate instead plus $9 for 5 small pieces of chicken isnโt a fair price. How could you possibly defend $9 for these small pieces of chicken? Your own menu offers up a HALF CHICKEN PLATE for $3 dollars more. Shame on me thoughโฆhad I ordered the half chicken plate, I likely would have gotten my 2 pitas and more chicken for less money.
