Their food is delicious and consistently good. My reason for 2 stars is the portion size has become shockingly small. We had the chicken Tarna plate which was $16.99 and the chicken Tarna wrap $9.49 before tax and tip. I have no issue paying $17 for a plate but when I looked at it, the chicken didn't even cover the entire bottom of the plate. Perhaps it's shrinkflation or perhaps it's the cost of employees making $20 an hour now which is passed on to the consumer. Additionally, the pickled turnips were dreadful. They had no taste and they were soggy, unlike anything I've ever had from there before.

Chicken kabob plate was delicious. The quality of the food is very good and fresh. Service is good and the dining area is clean. Had to wait for about 10 minutes but it's understandable because it was during the lunch hour. Worth waiting for the tasty food right off the grill.

One of my favorite restaurants mainly for their oh so yummy garlic sauce! I was thinking about a wrap but wanted to add the hummus but once you do that, itโ€™s the same price as a plate so I got the shawarma plate and it doesnโ€™t disappoint

I don't frequent Zankou Chicken often, but this experience might change that. I was absolutely thrilled with my visit. Many fast food restaurants overlook the importance of customer service, assuming the franchise name alone will bring in business. Not true! Let me start by highlighting the exceptional service provided by Luis, who assisted us. He greeted us with professionalism and enthusiasm. When I placed my order, he asked specific questions like, "Would you like your chicken cut into 2, 4, 6, or 8 pieces?" This was a pleasant surprise, as I had never been asked this before, and it made perfect sense to do so. It's not like I'm going to eat the whole chicken myself! During a previous visit, the person who helped me didn't come close to the level of service Luis provided. After we finished eating, I needed a take-home container, and Luis promptly provided one. He even offered aluminum foil for wrapping the pita bread, without me asking. His attentiveness made me feel like we had a personal waiter. Eating out can be expensive these days, but it feels worthwhile when both the food and service exceed expectations. Spending $45 hurts less when the experience is outstanding. Thank you, Luis, for making our visit great, and thank you to the Zankou Chefs for the delicious food. I will definitely be back.

This was the first time I had been to the new location. It is beautiful. Especially in comparison to the old place. It's bright and airy, and the high ceiling makes it feel very comfortable. When I ordered online, it was very convenient. I didn't check the bag, though. I got home, and the falafel wrap was missing. I called and told them that. Miriam was very nice because I told her I was in the South Bay. She said that was fine and I could pick it up the next day! I did, and it was great.
