7 months agoI wasnโt too sure what to expect when I walked in. It was very quiet and didnโt get much of a greeting from the staff up front. But we tried the chicken plate, eggplant salad, hummus and lentil soup. Wow! The food tasted so authentic and absolutely delicious! The onion sauce went well with the grilled chicken and rice. The eggplant salad had beets, and a taste of other side dishes with it and cooked very well. The hummus was one of the best Iโve ever had. Definitely a hidden gem in alameda!

7 months agoCute little place a bit off the beaten path. Ordered the Morrocan Rice with Kefta and caramelized onions and a side of hummus. The Kefta was delicious with the caramelized onions seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg (?). Really good. The tangy side salad was a nice counter-point to the Kefta. The hummus was top drawer and sprinkled generously with paprika. The only disappointment was the pita which was a bit dry and appeared (and tasted) "store bought." Taking off a star for that. If you're serving this type of food, you can't fumble something as basic and central as the pita bread. Aside from that little fail, very good.

2 years agoFamily establishment that sits next to the water with an incredible view of the SF skyline. The chicken plate with rice/salad was highly flavorful and the sweet/spiced sauce was a refresh to the palate. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend. Give them a try!

5 months agoWe were a group of 4 adults and a baby and we had an exceptional dining experience at this Moroccan restaurant. The chicken tajine was incredibly flavorful and tender, and the lemonade was amazing. The salads were fresh and vibrant, and the tea provided a perfect, soothing finish to the meal. This place truly delivers an authentic Moroccan dining experience. Highly recommend! Five stars! Everyone had a great time and we can't wait to come back.

11 months agoThe House Special (lamb) was very fulfilling and tasty! The Moroccan House salad was so delicious! Update: visited today, 12/2/23. Had the Morrocon rice with chicken and caramelized onions. It comes with a small salad. I had the mint lemonade, and all of it was really good! All their ingredients are fresh and flavorful.
