In 2012 we established our first food business a food truck now known as Agha’s Gyros Express which was located in downtown San Jose about two blocks away from San Jose State University. Our first menu contained only four items – lamb gyro, chicken gyro lamb over rice and chicken over rice. Our unique sauce, also known as white sauce, compliments our style of food by enriching the flavor of our rice and various meats. Our business took on catering opportunities as we ventured into serving at a multitude of events throughout the Bay Area including many large events at locations such in Berkeley, Pleasanton, Fremont, San Jose. Now in our restaurant we have 40 items that have been a success with our customers. We hope to open more locations in the Bay Area.

8 months agoMy go to lunch place in the area. For under $10, you can get a delicious gyro, filled with spiced meat and fresh vegetables and wrapped in a soft pita. You order at the counter and service is fast and friendly. I recommend dine in so you can avail yourself to the sauce bottles at the table. That way, each bite can be as spicy or creamy as you like! Larger appetites can add fries or choose one of the rice plate options.

11 months agoBest chicken over rice in the area. Staff is amazing and very helpful. Requested them to make falafel in the buns instead of the gyro wrap they immediately made it. Everything is super tasty and fresh.

11 months agoThey only have couple of vegetarian options but super delicious. I love their rice. Portion quantity is good and service is also fast.

4 months agoHad to go here as a last resort option that was open later. Should have known better. No idea how this place has such high stars. The food was old and tasted terrible. We barely ate it. The sauces had been sitting out and must have gone bad, because we all got sick from this place. The bathroom was also super dirty. Do not eat here!
