5 years agoI grew up Christian in Canada. My Scottish grand parents were big on church, tea totalers and my granny was the president of the women for prohibition. My dad took us to church, but he drank due to survivor's guilt/ptsd after 4 years in WW II. During University, I did not like the fact that churches were only open on Sundays, because sometimes I wanted to pray and it wasn't Sunday yet! I saw a dream that a black rose grew out of a ring after my father died. The rose is described by the Promised Messiah to be Surah Fatiha. I learned how to pray Surah fatiha from one of my students in Toronto so I "could see if it worked." I wanted to take it out for a test drive! So I started praying. I started to get these amazing dreams about the fourth caliph that were in technicolor with movie quality sound! They were sooo beautiful. No dreams compare to it before or after this period of my life! I dreamed that I went to tailor's in England and they praised the quality of the material I wanted to buy. I was so amazed and impressed by their praise that I decided to duck into an empty house and try the shulwar-camise on myself. When I put it on, I saw a beautiful sunset appear on the wall. I took the suit to the fourth caliph and he was too busy to notice me in the large hall with beautiful marble floors. Finally, I got his attention and I was able to give him the gift of the suit. He listened politely to my story about the tailor's but he did not seem surprised. I did an istahara prayer and married an Ahmadi. We have three children. Raising my children as Ahmadis is the best thing I have ever done. Alhumdolilah!
