The story of Albi is my story, a Lebanese national born and raised in beautiful Beirut, living as an expat, first in Paris, and now in San Francisco. I have always considered myself my countryโs ambassador, all the while embracing the culture of the cities I live in. My dual identity is a mirror of Beirut; oriental and occidental, traditional and modern, elegant yet popular, colorful yet melancholic, eclectic and full of contradictions. Albi also looks like me because it gathers all of my favorite dishes, from the ones my grandparents and parents make at home, to the ones I devoured in the small eateries of the streets of Beirut. Albi was born from my eagerness to share them with you.
See through Albi and you will see through my heart!

3 years agoFinally, Authentic tasting Lebanese food! I ordered the Chicken Tawouk platter and it tasted as if I were at a restaurant in Beirut watching the sunset, especially with the amazing Lebanese garlic sauce. Their sfouf dessert was also great. Highly recommend trying the food here!

3 years agoOne of our favorite places in SF! The food is so flavorful and well-cooked. We ordered the meat platter and it arrived at our house so perfectly juicy and still warm enough to eat but the owner had kindly included detailed reheating instructions in case it wasnโt. Iโve told all of our friends! So happy we found this spot!
