Alibaba Mediterranean Restaurant

Combo Kabob. Kabob wrap. Fries. Outstanding customer service. Location was very clean and well kept. Food was good. Sauces were good. The prices were a bit high ($70.00) which I guess is just a sign of our horrible economic times. Parking is horrible.

It's probably the best lunch deal in LBC, maybe LA! You get great tasting meat and rice with a super healthy salad for $10! I added some pita bread to mine and was still only $13 total. I was extremely full even tho it looks like a small box. Fast food is now $20 per visit, and the food is horribly bad for you. This place destroys all of them. Keep up the good work, Alibaba... Rubbing that magic lamp, put a genie in the kitchen!

A lesson in not judging a book by its cover: I had been living in the neighborhood for about two years when a friend from out of town who was staying with us came back from lunch at Alibaba, raving about it. B.s, I said. No way *that* place is any good. "Let's go there for lunch tomorrow", he said. Fine, I said. Well, two years later, Alibaba has become a weekly lifeline. I have catered food for parties, fed my family and friends many times over and every time I take anyone new there, they say "No way *that* place is any good." Well, yes, it is. And btw, it was the chicken shawarma.

Ordered the chicken kabob plate and a side of chicken shawarma. Both were excellent. Service was really good. There is a credit card surcharge of 3.5%.

Pretty tasty food. The portion was a tad smaller than what I expected and the flavor was a little muted.
