Iโve been a customer of this store for over two years. While the store offers a good variety of Eastern food options, there are several concerns that need to be addressed.
Pricing and Quality:
The prices here are often higher than what youโd find in other stores, and unfortunately, the quality of the products doesnโt always justify the cost. This has been a consistent issue.
Lack of Price Tags:
One of the most frustrating aspects is the lack of visible prices on the products. On multiple occasions, Iโve taken items assuming they were a certain price, only to find out at checkout that they were more expensive. During my last visit, the cashier even blamed me for not knowing that the listed price wasnโt accurate. This lack of transparency is disappointing and unprofessional.
Overall:
The store might be convenient for those who live nearby, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, if you have transportation, there are definitely other options available.
Great selection of South Asian foodstuffs. I got some liver too. The gentleman at the register was very kind to my rowdy kids. That meant a lot to them and they asked to go back to this store in particular. Found some frozen okra (different varieties), Naan, sucuk, and many other ethnic fares
I really like this store ! The two gentlemen that work there were very nice and professional, I went there to get Moroccan Barely and Semolina couscous the price is good compared to Amazon and I also got pure fat to use in my Moroccan Pancakes ( Mesemen ) and they didn't charge me for it ๐๐พ
I came here for the first time looking for halal meat and the man who "assisted" me with the meat did not return my Salaam when I entered. He gave me a look of disgust, staring at me with a twisted face the entire interaction, but as i was checking out he literally tossed the chicken onto the counter at me. Im not sure of what warranted this treatment and as Muslims, it's important that we create welcoming environments for believers of all walks of life but that is not what I was experienced here. Astaghfirullah, I will not be returning to this market as clearly I was not welcomed. Islam is a religion of peace, but not all Muslims practice such.
