Bab-Ul-Ilm (BIC) is a Shia Islamic Center located in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. Bab Ul Ilm was established in 1997 and Alhamdulillah we have been housed in our current location since December 2000.
Bab-Ul-Ilm was established by Hujjatul Islam Syed Fazil Mosavi who continues to be the Alim and leader of the Center.
The center is wholly supported by donations from the community and is registered as a 501(c) organization in the State of California.

5 years agoThere is a guy stay next to the center and we assume that he would probably a guardian to this place. Somehow he didn't allowed us to perform our prayer outside of the centre even just for few minute. He keep telling us the place is not clean to pray. But we already told him that we bring along our prayer mat and its not a big deal for us. He seems unhappy with our presence here. And also he told us we are not allow to enter this premise. We totally don't understand why this guy no considerable at all. We are just a visitor and we come here to perform our prayer before the time runs out. He suggested us to pray at the other masjid which is in Anaheim and we are not familiar with the places.

8 years agoExcellent Babulilm Islamic Center build positive activities in our daily routine work and teach religious rules and regulations in the light of Quran and Masoomeen a s . Very peaceful location . I love it
