a year agoSo, for my birthday, my husband surprised me with a dinner date at this place. We decided to try out Spicy Potatoes, Mixed Grill plate, and Lamb Shank. The food was actually quite delicious! Especially the grilled meat which was so tender and juicy. However, the price was a bit on the expensive side. It's a popular spot, always bustling with people. Since everyone seems to be enjoying their hookah, the whole place was filled with smoke. We had to wait a while to get a table and even for the food to arrive. However, our waitress was super friendly and made an effort to make us feel comfortable.

5 months agoIโm a regular here I come all the time but today I donโt know what they were on wasnโt even busy but for some reason I got no service, my coals were so small and wasnโt even replaced! I was just sitting there! My plate I had been finished was still there for more than 30min! Definitely disappointed

a year agoGreat option if you have a group looking for hookah + good food. Service was friendly. Was it the best shawarma I've had? No. But I'd take the chicken with hummus though which was quite good (when had hot). Mango beverage was spot on! Seating, although ample and standard table-chair, did not have the lounging kind you'd find at hookah lounges. Lighting was on the brighter side (don't expect a dim hookah place, is what I'm saying). Parking is not free. Just take the valet parking - it's actually cheaper than self-park.

4 weeks agoCafe layal is my go to spot for food, hookah or just a mid-day get away. The service is always great and I canโt count on both hands how many times Iโve been here in the past year. Top 10 places to visit while youโre in Houston. When you come, ask for Ryan! Heโs the best server Iโve had at any establishment. Attentive and always checking in his tables

a month agoMost definitely a spectacular experience. Food was great with reasonable prices and of course the hookah was a plus. I must admit my favorite part was Rayan, he was attentive , patient and very knowledgeable of the food and hookah offered. Of course Iโll be back .
