a month agoHands down, one of the best restaurants in Newport Beach. I pass this restaurant twice a day and always wondered what type of restaurant it was until one day I finally looked it up and made a reservation. Boy, am I glad I did! I had no clue lamb could taste so amazing! Fall of the bone delicious. I was set on ordering the lemon chicken until we spoke to the wonderful gentleman who was waiting on us. He spoke about how wonderful the lamb was and their specialty. So naturally, we ordered two lambs entree, and both were superb. We wanted to try some dessert, but after the entrees, we were too stuffed. Our lovely waiter brought us a complimentary baklava cut in half and told us that a belly dancer would be out in a moment and to snack on the dessert while enjoying the show. We had such wonderful experience we can not wait to go back any try what other tatey dished they offer.

The owner and staff were so nice to us all. Parking is so so it doesn't have a parking lot so just park across PCH in the city Parking lot if there isn't street parking. The

3 months ago10 stars. Authentic and delicious. It's a very undiscovered and unknown class of one of the world's great cuisine. The food especially the couscous is world class, the owner and people are fantastic. Having been to Morocco I actually know what great Moroccan food taste like. This is as good as we're going to find anywhere. Everything is great the couscous is world class I was so shocked this being in Newport Beach where people pile into mediocre restaurants, if you know Moroccan food then head there, if you want to try something truly original and give your taste buds a treat, this is a top of the list stop

2 weeks agoA place to come and soak in the experience. Too many restaurants want you to eat and leave, at Casablanca take time to savor the cozy atmosphere, drink, eat and enjoy the authentic Moroccan cuisine. The food is very fresh and prepared with care and sure to delight your taste buds with unique and balanced flavors. Wonderful staff that treat you like old friends.

3 months agoGreat date night destination. The table was ready as reserved. The server was quick to the table. Appetizers were tasty. The lamb soup and lamb sausage were cooked fresh and delivered to the table quickly. The main lamb tagine was delicious and melted off the bone. It was served on a bead of rice and apricot and prunes. The special seasoning of all three dishes made your meal delicious from your first bite to the cleaning of the platter. The atmosphere was a joyful celebration of culture with a belly dancer who not only got her workout in, but got us all involved in shaking parts that normally don't. It was so much fun. We highly recommend you give it a try. We guarantee you won't forget it.
