The Dishdash Restaurant Group serves, quality, sourced, and made-fresh-daily Middle Eastern fare. We use age-old family recipes of exotic spices and prepare them with a modern flare to bring you flavors of our homeland.
Our friends invited us to this restaurant, and it was quite a treat! I decided to try the lamb kebab, which was absolutely delicious. We also had baklava with ice cream for dessert. While I couldn't quite identify the flavor, my boyfriend really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
"Dish Dash" off McCarthy Ranch used to be in a building across the street and was a fancy sit down restaurant. This is run by the same people but you now order at the counter and it's now casual. The new location used to be a Mexican restaurant. It has a ton of space with one gigantic room with lots of windows.
Pretty casual vibe, not much decor but nice open area. Food is good with nice presentation, but I slightly prefer the taste of some other places (like Oren's Hummus because of their sauces); however, this may be the best in this area. The fresh squeezed juice is a nice touch and there are enough vegetarian and healthy options.
On a Sunday around 11 or 11:30 there weren't many people there so we had the big room to ourselves. It is probably a good location for hosting a larger private event.
What used to be on On the Border Mexican Cantina is now Dish n Dash at its larger location.
They made some modifications and removed the Tex-Mex theme.
The eastern Mediterranean (Palestinian and Lebanese?) food that Dish n dash offers is quite good.
Winners are chicken or beef or lamb shwarma. Falafels are crispy and a good choice as well. The entree dishes are on the heavy side as they are smothered in a yogurt sauce. We didn't try the kebabs.
The restaurant is large, and the clientele is diverse. Couples, families, and large families are present, and the full bar is a good place for singles and couples.
There is no host or hostess to bring you to your table. Grab a menu, order at the counter, and find a table. The dining experience is casual, and there is no rush.
Parking is not an issue. The lot is large.
Colorful, vibrant, approachable, and tasteful, these are qualities one would like in any person, and these qualities apply to the food at Dish n Dash as well. Give it a try if you're in the area and looking for something different and good to eat.
Amazing mediterranean place with insane customizability and fairly priced food.
The mediterranean food menu here is very expansive with a huge selection so you can customize it to your liking. Youโd be hard pressed to find something you wouldnโt like to try.
I always get the chicken schwarma which i get over rice and has a bunch of cooked vegetables and chopped chicken. All plates comes with 2 pieces of naan and 2 sides. I definitely recommend the hummus, garlic dip, and especially the falafel. The many times iโve been here since moving here itโs never missed.
Iโd definitely recommend it if youโre looking for mediterranean food! I really like the place
We went for a weekend dinner and had a fantastic experience. You order and pay at the counter. They will then hand you a number plaque and bring your order to whichever your table you chose to sit at. There is a counter with 4 types of sauce in sauce dispensers: garlic yogurt, chipotle tahini, cilantro mint, and spicy sauce. Neatly placed right by were are napkins, small plates, and to go boxes. I absolutely love that customers get unrestricted access to these items to give them the best dining experience.
We shared veggie delight as an appetizer and it was a great start to our meal. It's hard to beat warm, fluffy pita with a platter of tasty mezzes. I got a medium salad with beef kebab with grilled veggies and lentil soup as sides. Juicy tender pieces of flavorful, marinated beef on a bed of veggies made such a satisfying salad. Grilled veggies were alright but the lentil soup was so rich and comforting. I tried the pulled chicken wrap and thought it was also delightful. The chicken was so succulent and packed with flavor. The garlic yogurt sauce was definitely my favorite to pair with these dishes. The portions of our entrees were huge so we both ended up with leftovers. Service was quick, polite, and warm.
