>Being a doctor for me is the ultimate opportunity to help others. I wanted to be a Cardiologist who deals with complex, life-threatening situations like heart attack which requires quick and critical response to save the patient’s life. My favorite aspect of the physician-patient relationship is that I feel like the patient is part of my family. They ask questions and need my advice. I feel rewarded when I am able to make a difference in their lives and daily activities.
Dr. Sharaf received his medical degree from the University of Cairo in Egypt in 2011. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan in 2015. He successfully completed two fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

a year agoDr. Sharaf saved my life two years ago when I had my heart attack and for that alone I will be forever in debt with him. I have had several follow up appointments with him and he has always been very thorough with his evaluation of my health and his explanation. I trust him 100% and his treatment recommendations have all been on point. The team of assistants when you check in, are very sincere, down to earth and very efficient as a team.
