Dr. Homayara H. Aziz, MD

Dr. Aziz has been my doctor since my first baby in 2020. And we’re on our 3rd baby this time and until now she’s the one taking good care of me and my babies. Id drive all the way to Columbia even though it’s a little further from me because I’m confident and comfortable with her already. I also had to go through a miscarriage once and she made sure everything will be taken care of and that I’d be in good condition right after. I also love how her staff can be so friendly and accommodating every time I see them. My kids loved them as well already! I highly recommend her as an OBGYN.

I have been coming to Dr Aziz for about 5 years now and not once have had a bad experience. Everyone in the office treats you with respect and care! I refer Dr Aziz to all my girl friends & they always come back and say they love her and the staff ! 10/10 recommend!

I recently visited Dr. Aziz for a checkup and was disappointed with the communication throughout the process. After my initial appointment, the results weren't explained clearly. I was told to call the office, and that the doctor would then explain them over the phone. However, the doctor never called, and when I followed up, I was instructed to schedule another in-person visit just to receive the explanation. This required me to take additional sick leave, which was inconvenient and unnecessary. Furthermore, on the day of a scheduled ultrasound, I was informed that they couldn't perform the ultrasound at their facility. This wasted another trip and could have been avoided with better communication upfront. To make matters worse, I was charged a copay twice for both of these visits. My insurance confirmed the doctor is in-network, so I shouldn't have been charged. I'm still waiting for a resolution on this billing error. While the doctor may be knowledgeable, the lack of clear communication and the double billing significantly impacted my experience.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! I love Dr. Aziz! She is more than amazing at what she does. She has successfully delivered both of my baby boys and me being thankful is an understatement❤️ Also, her office staff is amazing too!

Great doctor but her practice has truly grown over the past 8years since she first opened as a solo praciticioner. Unfortunately with success comes compromise. Early in practice you could feel the bed side service. That is not the case anymore-although she is friendly and caring the service now feels rushed. There has not been a time when the waiting area is not packed and being seen could take up to an hour. The Doctor comes in-does exactly what she has to do and is out-generally under 10min. Billing And although she is kind her office management is horrible. My daughters are of age to need an OBGYN now. They both have had horrible experiences with incorrect billing. I literally was on the phone for almost two hours trying to explain my insurance and billing, they just don't seem knowledgeable. Rescheduling If you need to reschedule apparently you must call within 48hrs,,,literally 48 hrs or sooner. So if your appt is at 9am...call to reschedule at 8:59 am exactly because at 9am or later 48hrs in advance will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Needless to say..I will be in search of a new OBGYN. Hate to leave Dr. Aziz, but the new policies are inflexible and unrealistic. I say new because this is what was shared with myself/daughters in the past two months.
