7 months agoDr. Baraka has been taking care of my Type 2 Diabetes since 2014. I have moved most of my doctors to Johns Hopkins Hospital except for 2 and they are Dr. Shadi Barakat and Dr. Matthew Voss. I will never change those two doctors even though they are not part of Johns Hopkins. Both are top in their fields. I appreciate them both.

7 months agoDr. Barakat is very through. He shows much concern about my issues and continues to delve in to find the cause of my symptoms. He answers my questions and explains things in a way that I can understand.

9 months agoAlthough it was a 36 minutes wait to see the doctor, it was well worth it. I fully understand what is possible wrong with me. He is sending me for a test that will give us both more answers. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

10 months agoHe took time explaining things and seemed knowledgeable. It was a good experience. I really didn't like the long wait to see him. My appointment was scheduled for 10:55. I waited over an hour before being taken back to the exam room. Then waited over 20 minutes before the doctor came into the exam room. I finally left my appointment around 1 pm.
