Two friends, both originating from right here in the Bay Area, Yaniv Benaroya and Eric Huber, came together to start a concept called Gotta Eatta Pita. Yaniv has always had an unsurpassed passion for pita.ย He loved it so much that he took over his favorite pita bakery in Walnut Creek right out of high school. This is where he mastered the craft of baking the best pita. Eric Huber always had a passion for growing concepts and motivating teams to perform at their best.ย The two came together to launch the very first Gotta Eatta Pita in Danville in 2013. From the start, people traveled far and wide to satisfy their cravings for fresh pitas and healthy Mediterranean specialties. The glowing online reviews inspired Yaniv and Eric to expand their concept and open additional stores in Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, & San Jose.
Gotta Eatta Pita welcomes hungry guests with scratch baked pita bread, delicious Mediterranean specialties prepared fresh daily, and amazing customer service.
Our passion for pita is real.ย Visit any of our Bay Area locations, order online delivery, or have us cater your next event to experience why you just Gotta Eatta Pita.

2 weeks agoTheir stuffed pita was really good, especially with the hot sauce. It's definitely better than the bowl, as the pita bread really complements the rest of the food. I found the bowl a bit too salty without the bread. The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of high chairs. I'm not sure how busy this place gets, but it was fairly quiet when I visited. The staff was very accommodating, which added to the positive experience.

a week agoVery dim light near the food counter which I didn't like, very dull vibes because of light i think. Now about the food, the hot sauce is good, we ordered a vegetarian falafel bowl with some pita bread. I wish they also had brown bread. Hummus was not great, and couscous had old oil flavor and also falafel. Overall I didn't like it much as compared to Oren's hummus and also falafel stop. I wish they did not touch the food with vegetarian spoons. If you have different spoons for each item but while preparing the bowl or any other item if u bring the spoon in contact with what is already in the bowl how does it make a difference. When a vegetarian want his food it should be in zero contact with non veg. The server was newbie i think he was also not aware of the ingredients of many items.

2 weeks agoFood was good. But very limited quantity of chicken provided. So we felt we did not even eat the chicken. Increasing the quantity of the chicken per bowl would be great for next time.

a year agoFalafel bowl has good quantity. Falafels were not good. They were small and smelled like old reused oil. Cabbage salad, couscous salad, cucumber salad and eggplant greek salad were yumm. Hummus was tasty too. Kids plate was pretty decent. Service was fast and friendly.
