The Islamic Center of Ventura County was founded in 1993. The foundation is registered as a non-profit 501 organization setup exclusively to serve the religious education, charity, and the practice of Islam in our community.
A humble, very committed group of eight Muslims worked diligently and with the blessing of Allah (God) founded a small facility to rent in the heart of downtown Oxnard, CA. Meetings were conducted every Sunday to reach out and invite more Muslims to the center. Since then, the number of attendees has grown substantially. The center has 3 rooms for prayer and 3 bathrooms equipped with Wudu (Ablution) accommodations. The importance for the center is to bring Muslims and non-Muslims together in order to educate about our faith and way of life.
Our vision is to inspire our current and future generations to build a continuous relationship with Allah (God) by maintaining an environment of constant remembrance of Him and applying the values of the prophetic model.

11 months agoJuma prayers are held at between 13:00 pm and 14:00 pm through all the year (regardless of the Daylight-Saving-Time)

a year agoIt was a nice experience people are very nice, so far the best Bangladeshi community in the US. Mosque is very beautiful outdoor where all the good stuffs happen. Very much appreciated how they make it organized Ma sha Allah , I am very proud of them.
