Islamic Village Market

I’m a black new revert to Islam from another country . Seems to me they might be stereotyping all black people. I could do the same to them. But Islam teaches me differently. I came in there with my white husband and even he noticed the cashier or owner was watching us like a hawk yesterday. I understand you don’t want anyone stealing. Your business is in a predominantly black area if you don’t trust or like black customers don’t put your business there then smh . Unfortunately this comes with owning a business and you have to be tolerant with people regardless. We Spent like $200 usd don’t think as a black Muslim I would ever come back and support this store . I know you can do just fine without our money . But you have the Quran in the store try reading and learn how to deal with your customers . Maybe you can learn something from it.

My son went in to buy ground beef. He asked the guy to ground him fresh beef. The guy said no at first and then pointed towards meat and said only from this. Which was meat cut up into small cubes. He then told him if he wanted to ground fresh beef it will be an additional charge. Won’t be coming back here again.

Very upsetting experience. The place is very Americanized. Hardly any authentic product. Shame.

Best meat if you want to make shish kebabs.

I usually just buy the clothing items from the fashion department, like sandals and stuff.
