King Of Koshary

We chose this restaurant based on the many reviews it had. The environment was clean but very ordinary. The service, however, was extremely poor. We waited a long time for everything, and they kept forgetting our orders—even one of the main dishes was forgotten. The appetizers were tasty, except for the hummus, and the main dishes were good.

So happy we came to this place. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot, fresh and delicious. The menu is diverse and has vegan options. The owner/chef came by and greeted us with a lot of love. She was kind enough to give us some delicious desert. We ordered nearly half of the menu and everything tasted home made and absolutely delicious. I will return to the restaurant and bring more friends to try Egyptian cuisine.

I love this authentic Egyptian restaurant! When you walk in you’ll notice there’s only one guy serving everyone or two because this is a family owned establishment and looking after everyone’s tables while it seems like people have waited there for hours. That is apart of their tradition because it is a social ac to bury for the Egyptians. I’m new to this kind of cuisine so I’m glad the waiter gave me the correct pronunciation for each item I ordered. He gave us time to talk with each other and connect more which is different from a waiter checking up on you or disrupting your conversation. My favorite meal was the desserts like the Barbousa and their vegan dishes. When we left he gave me a free drink ! I’m glad that we came here and I’d love to visit again in the future.

First of all, let me tell you, I am a BIG foodie, second, I’ve been hunting for Egyptian gem for the last few years. Trust me when I say, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE !!! hands down I’ve been visiting for the last few of years trying to find the freshest, the most delicious and authentic Egyptian food. Sadly, I live in another state, but this spot in my MUST STOP BY from now on when I’m around 🤤

Flavorful and delicious food. The fetter with honey is a sweet and crisp accompaniment to a meal. We also enjoyed the fresh hummus which had a good cumin flavor. We also really liked the beef and chicken shawarma platters.
