3 months agoI stopped in for a gluten free, dairy free lunch and ordered their beef shwarma plate. It was delicious. Beef was melt in your mouth tender. I didn't need to use my knife. Hummus, rice, tabbouleh, etc were all tasty. Everything was fresh felt like home made. I ordered hot tea and was served In a tea pot that kept tea hot and served at least 2 cups. I had a lovely lunch. I didn't have time to stop in their bakery nextdoor so will have to return.

2 months agoI stumbled upon this gem. If you are looking for food that speaks to your soul and makes you melt, an atmosphere of calm with amore in the air and a friendly staff that is ready to make your visit feel like you’re dining with friends… you’ve come to the right place. The afternoon is the time to come as it’s calm, but if you can only make it to dinner it’s worth the trip and the wait. You might be thinking, “Why would I make the trip to Silver Lake/Echo Park?”… Because this place is worth it, that’s why. Don’t worry there is parking. So fight the urge to stay in and make the trip to this magical place. ✨

2 months agoWent to Levant for lunch on a weekday and brunch on the weekend during a recent visit to LA. Both times the food was fantastic. Everything on the menu is gluten free. I have celiac and I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be able to dine out without worrying I’m going to get sick later. The only downside is not having this place in my hometown.

6 months agoSuperb. Gluten free, organic. Came for brunch, had the pancakes and Lebanese egg pie. Felt amazing health-wise, no postprandial crash or heaviness. Came back a couple hours later to take a couple flatbreads on the road, those were delicious and pleasantly satiating as well. Artisanal and clearly not taking shortcuts in the recipes. Excellent service.
