Over the past few months, I've had the pleasure of attending this amazing Masjid. Led by a wonderful Imam, they offer tons of activities for all ages. I look forward to becoming a more frequent attendee in the future.
Our frequent stop. There is madrasah every Saturday for the kids to learn basic islamic studies. My kid loves the teachers. I even recommend the madrasah to all my friends.
The masjid itself organizes halaqah, activities & etc for the community. Such a good masjid for everyone!
I partook in the phone bank for Gaza event and there were some weak points in the organization of the event. Particularly for virtual phone bank participants. In the initial google form, they promised accommodation for virtual participants through a Zoom link. I clicked and waited on that Zoom link for 45 minutes waiting for the host to start the meeting and give us instruction but it never happened. In the meantime, I tried to navigate the phone bank website (having never done anything like it before). I also checked MAS instagram story in case there was some kind of updated Zoom link or explanation for the delay, but there was none. I was able to get past some confusion and made all of 2 calls before giving up and just deciding to use the script MAS provided to call my senator on my own as many times as I could. I hope MAS can avoid issues like this in the future and train event organizers better because managing volunteers is not an easy task.
Great masjid with welcoming members and very engaging with the youth. The weekly halaqahs are a must for they are very beneficial. May Allฤh preserve them all.
