3 weeks agoSmall Masjid in a repurposed house near TSU and UH, the 4 bus passes right by it. It does not seem to have Wudu facilities for sisters. Although there is usually someone who is keeping an eye on the Masjid, I do sometimes see sketchy people come inside to use the bathroom or cool off then leave. It usually is open during the day but they do have a bizarre habit of locking up during Maghreb and then do the Jamat once it is dark outside.

a month agoVery disappointed, I visited twice at time of Magrib, the guy inside doesnโt allowed to come in , saying Magrib will be when it will full dark, he closed the door , No lights on , itโs terrifying ! Advise to Masjid administration: please assign someone who welcomes incoming peoples for prayer. Masjid is home of Allah, anyone visiting should be allowed to pray there.

2 months agoI really disappointed when today I visit this Masjed to pray Maghrib. Me and one more person reach at this Masjed at 8:00 pm to pray Magrib but one person in side the Masjed who close the door and not allow us to perform Magrib. When I asked the reason he told us you cannot pray Magrib until sky become dark. My question is from those responsible person who Managed this Masjed is this Masjed or Home where we need permission like these kind of people who stop us to pray ? Because Masjed is a Home of Allaha and its should be open for every Muslim without any permission . I hope it will not happened with who drive to pray in this Masjed and after when not get permission then went at gas station to perform pray like me.

4 months agoFirst of all, May Allah bless the owner and the one who built the masjid. I experienced a terrible treat from the guy who called himself an Iman of the masjid. He didn't allow anyone to do iqama before praying jamaah, then we were kind of accepting it and continued to pray, but he asked us to pray in the corner besides the storage (kind of inappropriate place to pray). We insisted on praying in the middle, but he asked us to go away while also insulting us. I hope this kind of behavior can be fixed. An imam is expected to encourage people to come and pray in the masjid of Allah and treat people kindly. May Allah guide him.
