Brothers Raymond and Patrick Davoudi, along with Aleko Achitpes, are just as much a part of Mezé as the whole crew, together yelling “OPA!” as one of Mezé’s signature saganakis is lit on fire tableside.
Mezé Greek Fusion reimagines Mediterranean cuisine with fresh, locally-inspired ingredients, pairing the cuisine with an open, high-energy atmosphere. With features like sky-high ceilings, indoor/outdoor dining, a lively bar, happy hour, late-night specials and exemplary service, Mezé harnesses the pillars of Greek culture with a distinctly Southern California vibe.
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and unabashed carnivores alike can comfortably sit side-by-side in one of the two private rooms and know that they are all about to have the best meal of their lives.
Mezé is the perfect gathering spot for special event celebrations, relaxing dinners with family and friends, a peaceful lunch, a handcrafted cocktail and a quick bite to eat before heading to a Padres game or a night out in the Gaslamp.

a week agoIf you love Greek food, you're going to love this great restaurant in the Gas Lamp Quarter, San Diego CA. We were there in April 2024. A group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Generous portions so don't over order lol or you will have leftovers. We all had different appetizers and all had the Saganaki (flame 🔥) cheese. Mmmmmmm good! The tzatziki is amazing! Like home made, just perfect! Greek and Village 🥗 salads are fresh and include a tone of Feta cheese! We also had the meatballs, the lemon potatoes, and of course the Souvlaki!!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. When we were there it wasn't too busy, but reservations are recommended. We stayed at the Margaritaville Hotel which was a 30 second walk, close to the Baseball Petco Stadium 🏟️. Great service from all the staff, very helpful, welcoming and cheerful. We all had a great time and would eat here again for sure!

6 months agoWe had a private dinner at Meze in a private are and it was amazing. One of the best Greek food I’ve ever eaten. We had the chance to try most of the menu from hummus, tzatziki to salmon and baklava. Everything was super tasty, hit the spot especially the dessert. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice plan to enjoy dinner with a great staff in a well decorated restaurant.

3 months agoIt was a too dark inside, I mean for my taste, food is good. I tried the Moussaka. Which was close to the homemade version. The béchamel sauce was too thick compared to what I am used to as a Mediterranean person. But the taste was on point. Service is amazing

3 months agoThis is by far one of the most authentic and yet unique Greek restaurants we have been to! Greek classics and some new twists, and I'm half Greek so I know the good stuff... :) Service and atmosphere were amazing too!

a month agoI recently hosted a dinner with work colleagues and clients at Meze Greek Fusion, and it was an absolute hit! The flaming cheese dish was a showstopper, impressing everyone with its unique flavors and presentation. The ambiance provided the best backdrop for our night out, fostering great conversation and connections. Seating for our group was speedy. While the food service was attentive and memorable, we did experience a slight delay in receiving the bill, which was the only minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic evening.
