OLIVE Specialty Grocery Store

My latest obsession from this smart corner market? The red rocoto Peruvian hot sauce and Blue Llama single sourced organic coffee, medium roast (roasted locally in Berkeley, roast date on the package). There's lovely torrone from Italy (D. Barbero soft nougat w hazelnuts and a hint of orange peel). Don't leave without a jar of long green pickled hot peppers, canned fava beans, za'atar spice blend and so much more...

This place is the cutest shop! I appreciate that they accept EBT also, because not many specialty stores like this do. It makes it more accessible to purchase things for special occasions, and a great spot to get gifts. Kateryna was very welcoming and helpful as well, and I enjoy interactions with her. Great customer service. I look forward to going every time I can!

Lots of imported products. Mostly from Middle East but from other parts of the world too. It’s been open for only 5 weeks and the person that works there is super helpful. She told us every Friday they get fresh burrata and mozzarella directly from Italy. I found prices very reasonable for imported products.

Philip was great! We came in looking for olive oil. We didn't expect to find such a small selection but we found smoked olive oil which turned out to be superb!!!! I will definitely go back!

Olive oil selection is excellent as are the middle eastern baked goods and hummus. Very good pita bread selection as well as imported rusks and middle eastern anise cookies. Friendly service.
