When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them: “I work in commercial finance, invest in real estate, and help friends and family buy and sell real estate the smart way.” BUT, what I really want to say is, “I binge-listen to tons of Podcasts, keep up to date with contemporary finance and real estate related topics, listen to conference calls through a headset while struggling to keep that last bit of coffee off my shirt, create Excel spreadsheets that would drive the average person mad, take numerous calls from friends and family that need hand-holding with their stock portfolios, 401(k), real estate plans, and then try to find some time to either cycle (Tour de France, I’m coming for you) or run before hittin’ the sac… because I find it FUN and the more FUN I pour into my work the more effective I am in my work and the more pleased my clients are with their results.”
