It was my first time eating here and I'm glad I found this place! I had the gyro bowl and it was so good, very filling. Also, The lady that spoke spanish was so kind to give me some appetizer samples. Everything was delicious! They also have parking beside the building. I'll be going back for sure.
Truly wonderful place. Great atmosphere, nice selection considering the size of the place, and the food - both from the menu and the pre-packaged dishes - are great. Very friendly staff and an all-around good vibe. Weโre lucky to have this in our neighborhood.
If they improved the seasoning of their food and were a bit speedier getting the fresh stuff out then this rating could be higher. Ordered all the specialty items and the best were the shawarma eggrolls. Tabouli was good. Baba ganoush needs work. The pickled turnips were terrible as they needed to be soaked but longer before serving as it was still crunchy, flavorless, and not pickled. Greek salad and Sahara salad are good. Their tzatziki and garlic sauce are fantastic. We will go back to try the other stuff and give it another shot but we are bummed cuz everything looks so good but taste needs improvement.
However, plenty of pre packed items to take to go beyond Mediterranean food - various wraps, sandwiches, meatball sub, baby back ribs, orange chicken, and more.
This place is the absolute best, and just what we needed on Adams Avenue. The staff behind the counter are great with offering suggestions and letting you know the different options for the menu. Everything is fresh and Iโve loved everything Iโve had. The food counter is in Heights Market (which is also fantastic) and they have an amazing variety of anything else you could need. I am so happy to have them in the neighborhood!!
Delicious falafel wrap - pressed like a panini - the falafel was very well spiced and there was generous amount of veg in there too. (Even more hummus would have made it even better BUT they had a little sauce bar thing where you can get as much tahini, tzatziki, or garlic sauce as you need, which is awesome.) The tabbouleh was also great - well seasoned and dressed - and I donโt know if they accidentally gave us extra, but it was a very generous portion for what we paid! We also enjoyed the Sahara salad - like fattoush with extra pomegranate in the dressing.
