Nobody is perfect. Our medical care system throughout this country is complicated and difficult to use and understand. Insurance companies add to the chaos and get between you and your doctor to deny coverage and increase their profits. In this environment this doctor and her staff are doing the best they can to give us quality health care. I have multiple health problems and I'm glad I have this doctor to assist me in addressing them.
I've had nothing but trouble with Sutter's "independent physicians". It's so bad I avoid calling the doctor unless i absolutely have no other choice. Today (a Thursday) unfortunately I had no choice, I was required by my employer to contact my PCP about something. I called around opening, maybe 10 or 20 mins past 8am, I spent roughly 20 mins being "3rd" in line on hold, and slowly moved to the next period in line. I spent about an hour and a half total on hold and eventually gave up. Despite her "taking new clients" her office doesn't not seem capable of handling the ones she already has.
Extremely unprofessional and irresponsibe staff and the doctor. No respect for the patient's time. They made appointment for 15 minutes and let me wait for 30 minutes in the exam room..Now on another intance labs were ordered and did not recieve te results untill the appointment was due.Appointment time on the phone I waited for another 30 minutes for a 15 min appointment. Appointment was cancelled.Go figure.

2 years agoDr. Alarabi is a really wonderful and understanding doctor. She takes the time to listen. Her staff is exceptional.

a year agoBetter off going to Urgent care to get anything done. One of the worst Healthcare offices I can't believe I pay so much for that.
