    Our realtor, Stevie Howton, was AMAZING! We've known her as a friend for many years, and she stepped into our lives as a realtor when our landlord was selling our home. She was concerned as my friend and went beyond to help us find a home within our budget, explained everything, answered all questions, provided a timeline of events and when to expect things to be completed. She checked in on us to make sure we were getting documents, gave me some boxes, and when we opened and closed, provided champagne. This was a super stressful time of our lives and she made the days so much easier to endure. I want to thank her for her professionalism in her job, for our new home, but most of all for her friendship. I would recommend her HIGHLY as a realtor, she knows her job!

    I purchased a home sold by a terrible realtor hired by Coldwell Banker Realty. We reached out to Coldwell Banker about a resolution and they refuse to work with us on a resolution. We would give her a 0-star review if possible. We had a terrible experience purchasing a home sold by Coldwell Banker Realty - their realtor was full of lies and misrepresented the property we purchased, we believe, so prospective buyers put in higher bids than the house was worth. My husband and I spent our life savings on a home sold by Michelle. We significantly over paid and regret that we ever purchased the home, because of her. Lie #1. She told us the home had a private yard. It is NOT a private yard - it's a common area. She specifically told us it was our private yard and we could put up a fence for our dog. We found the truth after a hot tub we purchased was delivered and the next door neighbor yelled at my husband for violating the shared space. We had to pay to return the hot tub, the recommended therapy my husband's bad back. He now has an expensive gym membership in lieu of a hot tub. I had requested documents during escrow that specified which property was shared and which was private and was told this didn't exist. After moving in I was able to find such document, but it was too late that point. 2. The home listing stated there was a parking space for our house There is NOT a private parking space - the neighbor have made it clear that it's the area intended for the trash and recycle bins for the lot. This would preclude us from purchasing an electric vehicle as planned, costing us more money to own a gas vehicle. We also can't find parking when we come home during the day, which becomes a big stresser when needing to park our cars to go to the airport, for instance. 3. Michelle mentioned the side yard was our private yard. After we moved in we also found out that the side yard is NOT our private yard. It's an easement and technically a shared space. 4. Michelle said the neighbors never used the common area or easement, aside from one neighbor who simply opened her door for the mail. The neighbors do access the shared space daily, and we cannot simply move mail delivery. She once again made up what we wanted to hear, despite it not being accurate. 5. The listing said there was an oven/range in the home. There is NOT an oven/range, rather a fancy microwave oven. We would not have purchased this home had we had the facts about the scenarios above. Now, we are paying higher property taxes than the home is valued at due to the misrepresentation. We live on a shared property with two other homes, which is complicated, however, given the fact that Michelle was the realtor who has represented the former buyer and seller, she surely should have have known the details. I see two scenarios here to explain this: either Michelle didn't have correct information and falsely told us bad information, not doing her due diligence as a realtor, or she completely lied. When we confronted her about this, she simply told us to speak to our realtor. She refuses to take responsibility as does Coldwell Banker. We do NOT recommend you work with them.

    The agent that contacted me initially was friendly and helpful in my search. However, I quickly realized home ownership in San Diego is outside of my means currently. I let the agent know and we parted ways. Months later and I am still spammed by Coldwell Banker's automated mailings (from which I have unsubscribed multiple times) as well as "touch" emails direct from the agent (from which I cannot unsubscribe) asking why I'm not in a home and offering the come up with a plan.

    I'm a tenant in a home that's being sold using these guys as the brokers. I've no idea how the experience has been from the landlord's perspective, although it's taken them over six months to sell it so probably not great. One of the agents, Dan Ryan, is the embodiment of a typical slime-ball realtor. He repeatedly entered our home without knocking. He said "yes" to every question the prospective buyers asked, right or wrong. He would show potential buyers around without knowing basic details such as how much rent the tenants pay, parking costs, etc. then would pluck numbers out of the air to make it look as though he wasn't an idiot. He acted aggressively toward the downstairs tenant when there was a dispute over her receiving notice of entry - he told her, "I'll just use my key to enter anyway." Dan Ryan is seriously lacking any common courtesy and simple manners, making this selling process a nightmare for we tenants.
