Soltani Restaurant: The Best Persian Food in Santa Ana– Generous Portions at a Great Value!

3 weeks agoSOOOO GOOD! We decided to try this place on our way from LA back home to San Diego. Let me start by saying that we ate a TON of Persian food in glendale/LA and none of their Koobideh was as good as this place. Even my husband who often says “I can make this better at home,” admitted this as one of the best Koobideh in Southern California.

3 months agoThe food was amazing, the place was spotless, and the gentleman that owned the place was so sweet and kind. Please support this place, the kabobs are ridiculously delicious!!

4 months agoIf you ever had Zereshk polo. Never try this. Zereshk polo MOST come with Zereshk NOT cranberry!!! The chicken for the dish is coming with tomatoes, if you changed the dish why still called Zereshk polo?!!! I am glad that I will never eat that again, giving 1 stars because we don have 0 stars option, you are the cook and the restaurant owner you can cook whatever you want but please don’t change the recipe’s for traditional foods.

a month agoHave been eating Persian food for decades so not new. Excited to spot this place in central Santa Ana but, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. The chicken had the aroma and taste of going bad, the cook mentions one price for side but was charged by the owner a different price and customer service needs improvement since they don't tell you the food is ready and just place it on counter if it's your first time. Otherwise, the rice is good and they do grill the onion and tomato.

4 months agoThis place is a real gem. Delicious food and excellent service. Ordered Soltani, very tender meat, properly grilled (the portions are relatively large). Will definitely come back in my next visit to SoCal!
