3 years agoI've had bad experiences before in real estate. This realtor takes the cake. We had been searching for months to find a duplex in Austin. We finally found one that, through photos and description seemed to be just what we need. We requested both units as we take full care of my disabled sister. This was fully known by our realtor. Apparently, if a unit is rented out, YOU as the buyer inherit that lease. There was not one word told to us, we were shown the one vacant unit, then a vacant unit from another property, indicating our purchase would be two well maintained and upgraded homes. The lease that was to become our responsibility was not added to the hurried contract. We had no information as to the rental history of these tenants, no criminal background checks, if they had been using the Covid Moratorium to not pay their rent or any information as to the status of the unit they would occupy until August 31,2021. We were responsible for collecting rent from here in Houston, then serve the 30 day notice in July, do a walk through in August, then most likely start eviction proceedings in September. * Given what we found Two weeks ago this KW realtor listed this upgraded property for just under a half million dollars. She posted lovely photos of the vacant unit. What she nor her client bothered to do was to take five minutes to go into the other leased unit and get a quick assessment of what it even looked like. No matter to them they were putting us in an unwelcomed position of leaving us to deal with potential squatters (I'd never even viewed the place had l known), but they were so derelect in their duties they made no effort to see that the property was in fair shape and had no more damage than the $1259 security deposit he had to turn over to us. Oh, that was after they "had the carpets and home professionally cleaned" and did not try to use it as their last months rent. Thank goodness for inspections, because after rushing us through this contract, ours went out to find they had two dogs there illegally, the septic tank light went off, so rather than notify him, they just shut it off, ruining the entire system. The AC was on 66ยฐ and had dripped through the ceiling in the garage. Termites were found. The foundation was ruined. Floors and carpets showed that these were definitely inside dogs. To top it off, the unit was littered with trash. To be honest l really wonder if either of them actually knew the extent of damages and tried to get our Earnest money deposited quickly before the inspection. Not that we still couldn't terminate the contract, but this was so underhanded, I'm sure it would have taken them forever to return it, or try to find some way to keep it She even had the audacity to request a copy of the Inspection report we paid over $600 for, so HE wouldn't have to get one! YOU listed the property without ever checking. YOU still have it on the market?! YOU haven't been even been disciplined yet, for wasting our time and money, all while leaving us out of the market in Austin where listing prices are mere suggestions. Corporate claimed they were sorry we were disappointed. DISAPPOINTED? We were scammed and you're still at it? These people have no moral compass. I don't care if most people do or should know that tenants turn over to new buyers. It's up to the seller to make that buyer fully aware of what they're getting. He was fully remiss in ever checking that place or they'd not hidden two dogs in plain sight. This realtor had a duty to make sure that the unit for $259k could easily meet the standards of the photos with only S1250 and she did nothing herself not had her client done same. Pitiful company.

7 years agoThey are great to work with and have a great staff! So kind and caring and really worked hard to make the buy and sell of our homes quick and painless for us and the owners and potential buyers of our homes. They are so sweet and very easy to reach when you are like me and have TONS of questions! I would recommend them to ANYONE in the area looking to buy or sell their home!

5 years agoMay be a good company but Sweet Rojas is terrible. My wife did a staging for her and it took months to get paid. She felt sorry for her and helped her again with another staging. After many request for payment or partial payment nothing. She is a deadbeat and Keller Williams should do more to promote a better image with their agents.

3 years agoFired employee and blackballed them from another job because of a justified personal dispute with their neighbors. They canโt be trusted to be professional with their own people, so what of their clients? There is no way that I will ever work with them as a listing agent or otherwise. There are plenty of other agents to work with.
