Tried the hummus with their bread… they just gave me cold bread, and a very cold hummus… mentioned it to the waitress and she said that they always warmed it up before serving it, and their hummus have been always served cold. In my personal experience and opinion, NEVER have been eaten bread that cold… and the hummus, when it’s freshly made, it isn’t that cold (even the plate was very cold!) the waitress never offered, at least, to warmup the bread. Ordered their Lamb Kebab Plate, the rice and salad was ok, until tried to cut the lamb pieces, it was very difficult, and chew them was too hard, because it was full of tendons. Mentioned it to the waitress and she talked with another superior staff and offered apologies and tried to sell other dishes, but never offered a dish with lamb, when mentioned her that only wanted to eat lamb meat. When requested the check, got a discount for the problem with the Lamb meat. Not my best experience, hope anyone else can have a better one.

One of the best Lebanese places in town BUT.. overpriced and the $16 zataar (keep in mind it’s just bread and spices) does not reflect their best work. I was very disappointed in the bread quality, the way it was cooked and the spice mix isn’t the best either. Do better

I recently visited Sunnin Lebanese Cafe and I have to say, it was an incredible dining experience that exceeded all of my expectations! What really blew me away was the food. The Rekkakat were hands-down the crispiest I've ever had - I couldn't get enough of them! And the Fatoush was unlike anything I've tasted before, with the pita bread being smoky and crispy in just the right way. The Koussa (stuffed squash) was also amazing and prepared exactly how my auntie makes it, which was a pleasant surprise. But it wasn't just the food that made Sunnin Lebanese Cafe stand out - it was the service as well. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And even when we brought my service dog with us, it was no problem at all. Overall, I can confidently say that Sunnin Lebanese Cafe is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Los Angeles, and certainly the most authentic Lebanese food I've had in the city. From the amazing Rekkakat and Fatoush to the warm and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, everything about this place was top-notch. If you're looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience, then Sunnin Lebanese Cafe is an absolute must-visit!

Sunnin was amazing! My step-daughter and I just randomly chose it for dinner because I had a craving for falafel. The menu had so many delicious choices, and we finally settled on falafel for me, chicken kebab for my stepdaughter and a plate of spicy crispy potatoes. It wasn’t long before we asked for mint yogurt sauce and sliced cucumbers to dip into it. We were unprepared for the size of the servings - they were huge. The chicken dish came with an amazing side that we found out was whipped olive oil, and garlic. My falafel plate came with hummus and tahini, and both entrées included rice pilaf, and salad. Even the salad dressing was amazing, and I could detect a hint of mint. The gentleman who work at Sunnin were super friendly and attentive, including the server and the busser. After dinner, we were treated to the most amazing dessert. I can’t remember the name of it but it was a pannacotta with a rosewater, honey, and pistachio. We have lived in San Francisco, New York, and LA and we both agreed that this was the most delicious dessert we have ever had. This restaurant is a real find and we will definitely be back again.
