International Grocery Store – Great selection of Middle Eastern, south Asian, Indian, European, Mexican, andAmerican decent produce and great selection.
It is one of the few stores that sell Mediterranean goods and you can find any things that you can't find somewhere else. However the cleanliness of this place needs major attention. Also their fresh meat section needs major cleanliness attention so we can have confidence to buy from it. I don't buy fresh chicken from there since I have concern regarding cleanliness and I didn't like the taste of it.
A one stop shop for desi groceries and meat. The selection includes Indian, Pakistani, Bengali and middle eastern groceries. There is also a Mexican selection. The meat sold here is halal. Meat consists of beef, lamb, mutton and chicken. All the meat and the cut variety is excellent. This store also has free range roosters. There is also frozen fish imported from Bangladesh. There is a variety of halal sausages and processed meat. The variety of vegetables is excellent. There are good organic options also. The shop has excellent potential to improve at various levels. First is they need more counters during the peak period. The lines get very long at times. The meat section should introduce more token based systems so customers do not need in line for up to 30 min or more during the peak period. The store arranged the items in an organized manner. I feel the store can upgrade its interior design and make it even more upscale. The size of this market is big. With a bit of upgrade it can become like a halal version of Safeway. There is plenty of parking inside the plaza. There are other stores around too. There is a good space to add a coffee shop or restaurant with chairs. A nice coffee shop where families can sit have a small bite and chai while other shops are something I would recommend. The staff have always been kind to me and polite. This store is my first option for desi grocery but I feel it has potential to do much better with a bit more investment in design and process and become like a desi halal safeway.
This place has been going downhill the past few years. My last trip last week was a disappointment. I bought chicken pieces and when I got home I realized the skin was dirty and had baby feathers. I bought a few items (marshmallows, vital tea, sev, etc.) and later realized they were expired. Never going to this place again. They should either change whoever is managing the store or just close down honestly.
Keeps expired product. I took a video on March 2024, where they are carrying products that were expired in Jan 2024. I am surprised they are not yet fined by the authority.
Also during Qurbani, they charge insane costs and do not provide all parts of the animals, though they price you based on full weight. Such a shame!!
An excellent place for fresh cut meat (halal) and chicken. Such a good place if you’re looking for products from Middle east or Turkey as Ahmed tea .. algazalain tea .. alwazza tea .. turkish tea .. Durra products .. bun al ameed Coffee(بن العميد ) .. and soo many more , prices are more reasonable ,not fancy from inside but you can find everything.
