I cannot speak for all the employees here, only about the experience I had with Carmen Rodriguez. I'm sure there are many wonderful Realtors here I just didn't not have that experience with this particular one. I applied for a rental home that this Realtor manages. Before submitting my application the home owner requested to meet with me at the property. Upon my arriving, and after the owner arrived, he and I toured the house. I had all of the requirements, and he was really tenacious about helping me get into the home. Told me he'd run my credit immediately. Towards the end of the meeting with the owner Carmen Rodriguez showed up. She had her arms crossed, and her body language was completely shut down. I definitely immediately felt as if she may have had an issue with me. I took it upon myself to initiate introduction. The owner and I started speaking again, he mentioned to Carmen the amount of children I have, I had never seen anyone more shocked. She gaped her mouth open, put her hands in the air and said "well that's just too many." My heart kind of broke. But the owner really liked me. We spoke about my time in the Marine Corps and he mentioned that I had an unmatched drive to succeed. He started telling me about the process, and about running my credit. Carmen put her arm out several times to stop him from speaking to repeat over and over again "you tell you realtor to send it to me he has to speak to his wife before he says yes." though the owner seemed excited. I electronically submitted my application. After that I never heard from her again. She refused to respond to my realtor, won't answer the calls. She avoided everything. So I called her myself, she proceeded to tell me she can't help me, to speak to my realtor again and I should know better. The next morning, yesterday, she reached our after over a week of having my application, WHICH SHE NEVER PROCESSED, NEVER RAN MY CREDIT, NEVER VERIFIED, and said they went with someone else. She said they were under contract. I had a friend reach out to her as if he were interested in viewing the same property. Carmen Rodriguez told him "Yes this property is available to rent." She had zero regard it seems for The Texas Fair Housing Act and the U.S. Fair Housing Act as she discriminated against me in two different ways

We used Karen Ballard and she didn't let us know our house had flooded 3.3. Feet. We found out after the time to back out. It causes huge issues between my husband and I who have been together for 15 years. We now have a house I hate .. I will never call it home and we are divorcing over it. If you want a GOOD REALTOR do your homework! Have them tell you everything. This house won't be anyone's soon. And she still gets commission. If I could go back in time I'd pick ANY OTHER REALTOR BESIDES KAREN BALLARD. Plus she was out of town every weekend had had to have someone else show us homes or we went ourselves. She ruined a 15 year relationshipby not disclosing information. She did hardly any work and got paid. First time home buyers mistake. And she lied about us having 20% down on our application for the house. Which we did not. Do whatever to make a sale, right Karen? Name is fitting.

I have purchased 9 homes in my lifetime and have found Karen Ballard to be the most careing and dedicated realtor I have ever used. She goes above and beyond what one normally expects of a realtor and will go to any extreme to insure that you are treated fairly and are fully satisfied. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. She is at the very top of her field.
