4 months agoI recently moved to Phoenix and found this place great for Mediterranean food. The restaurant board has been changed as itโs now merged and serves Ethiopian ๐ช๐น food as well. We tried the lamb Mandi which can easily serve for 2 and a chicken shawarma wrap. Both were flavorful. The green sauce made at the house served with Mandi was my favorite. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant entrance is small but has got ample seating space. There is plenty of parking as well in the complex. A must try place for Mediterranean food lovers.

6 months agoThis place deserves all 5 stars. Best food I've ever had in my life. First of all, quality is AMAZING. Flavors are absolutely phenomenal. Price point is perfect. Portions are HUGE. I'm visiting from Chicago and I've had middle eastern food and south Asian food from many places there and also while traveling in the middle east and US. I literally asked the chef to open in Chicago. I'm going to miss this food so much. She's a master chef. And the RANGE is amazing, they offer Middle Eastern, Ethiopian and South Asian food, and all cuisines are SPOT ON. Food also comes fresh and quick. Can't say anything bad about this place. Do not hesitate to come here at all, you won't regret it!! The staff there is so so so sweet, they deserve all the good business coming their way. Pictured: chicken shawarma plate, Hummus with chicken. Also tried the mansaf with lamb which was amazing.

10 months agoWhat a surprising experience!! We took a pitstop on our way to Tucson to try YS Madiโs chicken shwarma. And WOW!! Itโs like an explosion of flavors in the mouth!! The chicken is so tasty we ordered a second time on our way out, and one more time on the way back from Tucson!! The waiter is also a gentleman and is extremely kind and respectful!! We definitely, absolutely, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for halal Mediterranean food!!!!!!!!

11 months agoI've picked up orders from here about four or five times but I won't buy from here again. The place doesn't look clean but the times I've ordered from here I've enjoyed the food. They forgot my vegetable rice Biryani plate order and I didn't find out until I got home. I called and they said to come back tomorrow. This is what I got when I went, old mushy wet rice that tasted awful because they added so much spices to mask that it's probably going bad! This is why other reviews said that they got food poisoning from eating here! This is really terrible that they would serve this type of food to paying customers. I won't ever go back.

a year agoThe food is excellent but the price on the menu was not honored. Excellent Yemenese food! I got the Chicken Shawarma with falafel and Lamb Mandi. Much enjoyed the shitsu, yogurt, tomato sauce, and in general, the food was stellar. However, the Lamb Mandi was listed on the menu as under $16 and I was up-charged to nearly $20 (without tip). Upon asking why the price did not match the menu, I was told lamb is more expensive. While that may be true, the menu should reflect the actual price of the item. To overcharge from a listed price is unethical because that is not honest service. I should have been told the actual price before ordering, if it was different than what was listed on the menu.
