Our famous homemade Falafel is our specialty (it's also gluten free). We offer 2 styles… grilled or fried! Another fav is our Shawafel – best of both worlds!
This is an excellent fast food pita sandwich place. Very generous portion on the falafel platter I had. Pitas were warm and fresh. Staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable, even with the credit card surcharge, which I find a bit annoying. My one complaint is that the patio seating smells like urine. I get that itโs downtown LA and they have no control over what happens at night outside, but it doesnโt make the smell any less unappetizing. I would definitely go back for takeout. One side note: their Google view score is a bit inflated because they give you a free drink if you agree to post a review.
The service was quick & the atmosphere was cool, but the food wasn't that good. I ordered 2 gyro plates, falafel, grape leaves, & fries. The fries were really good. The rice in the grape leaves was gritty & bitter, no real flavor. Our gyro meat had a propane char type of taste. Finally our falafel was burnt & somehow the sauce for it tasted burnt as well ๐คท๐พ
When we visit DTLA we always want to try new places, and itโs been 5 years since we have been in LA so this was a new one for us.
Doesnโt look much from the outside, but this is a gem!
Amazing food. The portions are huge! As a vegetarian my husband was delighted to get something substantial and delicious, and I loved my chicken kebab.
We liked this so much we visited twice in the week - a rarity when there are so many other eating establishments.
Highly recommend this for value, portion size and tastiness!
Wonderful food. Had the felafel, it came with salad rice hummus and pita. Everything was fresh made and full of flavor. Odd thing is, they have no bathrooms! We had to go to Shake Shack down the street to use theirs. And of course buy a drink to access. A
But all is forgiven because the food is worth the minor inconvenience.
Impeccably tasty food and very filling in quantity. The fries with the wrap are tasty and crunchy, the falafel plate had a delicious salad and the perfect consistency for the hummus. My dad is a famous traveling food critique, and has been going to this restaurant for more than 3-4 months every time he goes to work close by and highly recommends the food to me as well!!
