5 months agoFood and service were absolutely amazing! The Achilles Chicken plate was perfectly seasoned and came with a very generous portion - great value for the price. Falafel came out still hot and fresh. All of the staff working there were extremely friendly and professional. It was my first time there and they were very welcoming. I’ll be back for more!

3 months agoHad to give Achilles a try with so many reviews. Dee greeted us and was extremely friendly. The 3 of us ordered: -beef plate -chicken plate -beef wrap Food was good. Flavors were nice. Dee gave us each a falafel to try. After going another 2-3 times, I do wish the beef (not sure if its the same as the chicken) was hotter. At times, it seemed almost cold. Outside seating only. 4% surcharge for non-cash payments which is a bit of a bummer. Parking is limited in the lot, otherwise, street parking.

4 months agoGreat place to grab a bite to eat to go or sit at the small patio outside. Good falafel and gyro. The plates are a huge amount of food for the price. Also, the hot sauce that they have is really good and has a nice spice to it.

4 months agoOne of my favorite and go to Mediterranean restaurants in the bay area. Amazing taste and worth the cost. They have plates, wraps, and pocket sandwiches. The hot falafels are so crispy and yummy. I usually go for pocket sandwich or the plate. Overall the taste is a bit more sourly.

5 months agoAchilles is a middle eastern restaurant that has great plates. Many people typically get the combo plate as you can choose two different proteins or just one protein. Wraps also available if preferred. We ordered via doordash (this review will be based off that experience) and the food came pretty warm still. Overall the beef gyro was a solid choice as it complements the rice and tzatziki sauce well The chicken shawarma was a little dry and didn't have as much flavor as expected, but still decent If you're craving middle eastern food in the santa clara area this is the place!
