Dish N Dash – Sunnyvale

Lipsmackingly yummy, down to earth and minimal fuss executed perfectly! This was a vegetarian heaven in a somewhat meat-heavy area for restaurant options at superbly reasonable fare. The entire dish and all aspects screamed unique and exciting flavors which worked together really well and was a plentiful portion which left me with zero complaints. The falafel was also grilled perfectly, crispy yet light and fluffy left me drooling for more, the salad and grilled veggies were seasoned with some awesome spiced, all topped with crunchy and peppery baked pita chips. I can't wait to return and cannot recommend the Veggie Shawarma with Grilled Veggies and Grilled Falafel enough!

Apparently chicken is only halal here. Better you check yourself for other kind of meats. I tried chicken shawarma with rice, hummus and falafel. I also tried baklava crumble. Juices are fresh and very good here. I tried orange + carrot and I really liked it. Price is relatively a bit on the higher side.

I travel to San Jose for work. I’ve only ever tried the formal DishDash near the old Indeed and Uber offices. This location was a quick service location but whatever they gained in convenience, they did not lose in flavor. The Chicken Shwarma plate was delicious and it comes on a bed of saffron rice with 2 sides. I chose the tabouli and red pepper dip. If I were to reorder, I would replace the rice with hummus only because I’m doing low carb nowadays. My friend got the wrap which looked amazing as well. Both dishes came with 4 sauces and I love how generous they are with the sauce. It was fun to experiment and try them all!

Second time: I was dreaming about how good the food was and had to go back a second time and man I was even more impressed with the 5-star service. This time I tried the falafel in pita and the Backlava crumble and they both smacked! I’m so glad I could eat here during my short visit and hope I can come back! 1000% recommend! First time: Listen I had to leave a stellar review as soon as I was done eating. It was too freaking good, flavorful, filling, and so worth the price! I got the chicken shawarma over rice with falafel and veggies and everything was just so good down to the array of sauces they provide I couldn’t believe it! While the chicken was nice the falafel was definitely the star of the show. To top it off, staff was friendly and patient in explaining their menu. It’s appears unassuming but it’s a gem of a restaurant!

Visited recently after a very long time. Glad to see they have maintained the quality of food. Was impressed with the serving size of the grill option with Falafel and rice. It came with 2 sides and we went with Tabouli and fries. They provided a few condiments along with the meal. Liked the mint chutney and that went nicely with the rice and falafel. Also ordered a beet and apple juice to go with the meal. Their fresh juices are a must try and taste amazing. I am coming back much sooner this time
