I came to the optical express for an annual eye exam and I was very impressed with the service. Everyone was professional and I was seen fairly quickly. While I waited for my pupil to dilate, they even had staff walking around with a cart full of snacks to offer patients while they waited. Dr. Dean was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I was given an appointment for 7:40 am on a Sunday and I’m still sitting here at 9:30 am waiting to be seen as a follow up. It’s frustrating. Imagine if doctors and only doctors were made to wait this long at a restaurant. How would they rate the service? I was told there was an emergency the doctors were dealing with which had priority. I recommend they improve the communication between staff and patients in order to make them aware of all goings on. Although they are slow moving as the process is cumbersome the doctors are very thorough, which is vital for treating the eyes.

Wait time is absolutely disrespectful to patients time and a risk to their health. On July 8, 2024 I took my mother to the ER as advised by her eye Dr. she suddenly got a lazy eye and her Dr wanted assurance she had nothing more serious going on in the brain. We checked in at 4pm and we did not leave until 5am! The next morning! 13 Hours. I have never experienced that wait time in my 43 years of life. We left with no significant understanding of what was going on. Only that the MRI did not present anything to worry about. We were scheduled for a follow up on July 13 which was a 5 hour wait. Even with an appointment! At the appointment the Dr informed us my mother possibly had a mini stroke. If the stroke was more severe my mother could have severe damage or side effects or worse. While we were just sitting and waiting around. I did give two stars because when she did finally see the doctors, they did take time to ask her what was going on and run several test and did their job well. I just do not understand why the wait is so absurdly long. Will not be returning

The wait times are absolutely inhumane. We have been here for 5 hours at the time of this review with absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from staff whatsoever. Anytime we ask we get ZERO response. No tracking board. Not enough seats. Nothing. Horrible. I have never seen such horrendous service and nonchalance.

I am only going to speak on my experience. Before, they were great, and their customer service was amazing. Now, since mid-last year (2023) they are awful. Again, my experience. They don't answer the phone even if you call 100 times, and they never call you back. To reorder your contact lenses is impossible. They DO NOT call you back. I had to ask for time off from work, and drive to their location to place an order. I went, and they had me wait in a hallway for 40 minutes. To then realize all I had to do was go to a kiosk and place my order. Nobody took the time nor had the decency to approach me and ask if I needed help. I am not one to write reviews, I am hoping they read this and give me a call back so I can order my contact lenses.
