a month agoBeen a patient for almost two years. Started going when my vision got blurry following a NYE Dr. Pepper bender. My blood sugar was all out or whack. Dr. Elshatory broke the bad news to me that I was going to need eye treatment. We did laser treatment with little effect, and eventually had to resort to injections. Dr. Elshatory was gentle and kind with everything that happened. I'm not sure how you make someone comfortable with the idea of eye injections, but he did it. Just had a follow up appointment yesterday and I won't be back for 6 months because things are looking good. Highly recommend.

2 months agoA BLESSING ! We have been patients of Dr. Elshatory, for several years. He saved my wifeโs vision! She has diabetic retinopathy and we needed specialized medication. He was able to get the medication and deal with insurance and the manufacturer. He also administers eye shots every visit and the duration gets longer. Which means there is great progress. Thank you very much :-)

2 months agoDr Elshatory did successful surgery on a significant hemorrhage in one of my eyes and then treated both eyes via laser. My follow up appointments are now just to keep a check that nothing further is required. Very pleasedโฃ๏ธ. The office staff are the bestโฆthey genuinely seem happy to be at work and are the most friendly staff off of all my doctors .

a month agoI have been seeing Dr. Yasser Elshatory for over a year now. The staff is friendly and the office is organized. I get Avastin shots in both eyes. While it is not the most pleasant procedure, I must say that Dr. Elshatory has the hands of an angel! My previous doctor - constantly had very long wait times...it was like a cattle call. The shots were painful because they didn't numb me up very well. To top it off, they always overbilled me?! Soo happy to have found Elshatory Retina Associates. I will only trust my eyes to Dr. Elshatory!!

2 months agoEveryone there is so nice and pleasant and helpful! Dr E is very thorough and describes everything he is doing and what he expects and finds. Really great experience (I mean - other than being scared to being referred to a retina specialist )
