10 months agoThe PA I saw was wonderful, his staff, not so much. I was given bad information for my appointment. I verified before I left the office that my appointment would be via telephone, as my appointment card stated FaceTime. The day of my appointment rolls around and I donโt receive a call. I give them some time and attempt to call. I left a message and did not get a call back. I made several attempts to call and there was no answer by the office staff. When I try to call and try and reschedule I am told I canโt have a telephone appointment because the individual that I was speaking with said it wasnโt the PAโs fault. I live almost 90 miles away and am pretty ill. I will not be returning to this office as I feel that the medical staff doesnโt care about their patients.

10 months agoMy mother recently went in to acquire a different prescription and was attended by an extremely rude front desk member. They made her wait for at least an hour in order to help her out, giving her the run around. The Doctor, on the other hand, was extremely amazing and informative. If it wasn't for the front desk person at the time, I would have left a better rating.

10 months agoDr. Abdelkarimโs office got me in pretty quickly after I was referred to him for abdominal pain and weight loss back in 2020. I had been losing weight and experiencing such severe pain that it destroyed my life over the course of about 2 years before I finally got away from Kaiser. While I was with Kaiser, I had asked my primary no less than 3 times for a gastroenterologist referral, which I never received. I continued to decline, having symptoms of malabsorption as the brain fog, vertigo, tachycardia, tinnitus, severe body pain and debilitating fatigue got worse. My hair started falling out, skin was dry and broken out, etc etc. Kaiser kept telling me I had anxiety (I did but come on) and depression (even though I told them it was because of how I felt and couldnโt live my life anymore) and literally ignored the rest of my symptoms. I finally got away from Kaiser to see real doctors and figure out my issues. Dr. Abdelkarim and his staff immediately got labs ordered and endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled as my weight loss was โalarming.โ I didnโt get to meet Dr. Abdelkarim until the day of my procedures but I felt safe and in good hands in the few minutes I got to speak with him pre-op, saying he was aware of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and how it makes my tissues fragile. He ended up diagnosing me with celiac and possible early Crohnโs. What a simple thing that Kaiser could have found years ago. Dr. Abdelkarim FaceTimed me to go over results and asked how I was doing, and was very kind and sympathetic. I owe my life to him and the doc that referred me to him. Thank you for being one of the rare doctors that listens to patients, Dr. Abdelkarim. ๐

a year agoI have been with IDEAL for roughly 4 years and I am still blown away every time by the quality of care I receive both in person and during telemedicine appointments. Ian is my hero! He is always willing to do whatever it takes to help his patients, even when the answers arenโt always obvious. Iโm so grateful to him and Dr. A, who has done some procedures for me and is so kind, professional, and dedicated to his work. The office staff is amazing and always so in synch and fast. You will be in good hands here!
