Dahlia Fateen is a fourth-year medical student passionate about delivering equitable and accessible health care. After graduating from Stanford University with a chemistry degree, she became a consultant at Accenture to understand how systems are built. Since then, she has explored medical systems locally and abroad, learning about the social, political, and economic determinants of health. As a Health Justice Scholar at Georgetown and a researcher at Physicians for Human Rights, she has worked towards closing health care gaps and fighting against injustices. She has bridged her experiences in business, technology, and social justice to fight for human rights in the global arena. As a fall 2021 GHI student fellow, she worked with Babatunji Oni on health systems assessment in Oceania.
