weeks agoI was referred to Dr Nakhle by my primary doctor due to some abnormal test results and called to make an appt. - the scheduling staff was very unpleasant. The woman refused to make me an appointment because I didn't have an official diagnosis. She proceeded to tell me the doctor only treats patients, but does not diagnose them. .so if I dont know the exact diagnosis, I cant be seen. She was also very rude and unprofessional. Isn't the purpose of a specialist to look further into issues a primary doctor cannot diagnose? This whole interaction made no sense and I'll gladly look for another endocrinologist.

months agoItโs unbelievable how the staff here treats their patients. I called three times to get a refill for my insulin as iโm a type 1 diabetic. 2 weeks had gone by for someone to return my call to tell me that I need to be seen before they can prescribe me insulin when I am a insulin dependent type 1 diabetic. Dr. Vernetti is great but he needs to remove himself from the practice. This practice doesnโt care about their patients they simple care about cashing a check. Im not an attorney but this seems like itโs a big red flag if it were to be escalated to the right people. Itโs not like iโm trying to work the system for opioids. Iโm literally just trying to get insulin that iโve been taking for 13 years now to sustain my lifestyle and simply live. Unbelievable.

a month agoI wrote a really long paragraph that was deeply filled with sadness and decided that maybe i shouldn't post it. So many things could have been done differently ๐ I don't think the dose they wrote me was high enough. They wrote me .100 capsuls instead of tablets and my insurance only covers tablets. He got mad cuz I picked up 75 in the meantime. It took him over a month to fix the tablet capsul issue. My tsh was 14.60. He wrote 100 before I was pregnant and raised it nothing during my pregnancy when he's supposed to raise it 35% for pregnancy. I went to a new dr who put me on 150 immediately and switched brands because that one was making me sick and my tsh is still 2.65 which is still high for pregnancy but much better than nakhle. Dr nakhle never even checked my reverse t3 which is through the roof, which means my body struggles to convert t4 to t3. If u only want to be seen once every 6 months, see nakhle. My levels were never going to be fixed at this rate. I have been seen every month at my new drs office until I'm within range and every month we have had an increase. This is all I wanted from nackle. I dont think that was too much to ask.

months agoOffice staff is very rude and unprofessional. Left several messages since nobody can seem to pick up a phone. Took me calling back to back to back to finally get a hold of someone. Wait times are extremely long. I saw Nahkle for a thyroid nodule ablation and they only take cash. The procedure is Not covered by insurance and they wonโt even take care credit or a FHA card. The lady I spoke to was so rude and had me in tears. The ultrasound tech needs to know what the difference between an FNA ( fine needle aspiration) and a thyroid biopsy is. Iโm so glad he isnโt my endocrinologist full time because I would be miss managed. I was referred to him by my endocrinologist for the ablation of my thyroid nodule. If you want a top notch endocrinologist go see Dr. Litchfield at Desert Endocrinology in Henderson Nevada. Great office staff, and exceptional Doctor!!! Dr. Nakhle YOU and your ENTIRE office staff should learn a thing or two from Dr. Litchfield!! Just because youโre a doctor doesnโt give you the right to treat people the way and your staff do!!!

months agoWaited 3 months just to pay to have my time completely wasted. Had my appointment prompted by both my gynecologist and primary physician, Dr was rude, completely shut down any concerns I had and was made to seem like I was making things up. I only follow health professionals advice, only reason I came in was because my doctor recommended it, not sought out on my own behalf. Wouldnโt have came in to otherwise been belittled and made to feel dumb for having concerns regarding my health. Do better
