Yassine J. Daoud, M.D., specializes in cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK), as well as the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. He is known for his surgical skills especially in complex cornea transplants and management of challenging cataract surgeries. He has special interest in managing complications of previous cataract and cornea surgeries.
Dr. Daoud received his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was the recipient of the โBest Bedside Skillsโ Teamwork Award. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Eye Center and a cornea fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
