A well-known spot for classic Persian & Mediterranean cuisine. Relaxed eatery serving authentic Persian staples, including kebabs, hearty stews & rice dishes in a bright & spacious dining room.
I went there this past weekend for the first time. It’s a cute small restaurant. They have a very good menu and the food was delicious. We ordered Soltani and Ghemeh stew. The only reason I give them 4 is because the rice portion was small and they did not bring any appetizers (sabzi, cheese, bread). Most Persian restaurant usually bring a small appetizer and the rice portion is good. However we still had kabob and stew but we were out of rice. The prices were reasonable too. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant and would go back.
Love working with Shahram Tehrani the owner of Shemroon Restaurant for the catering of our wedding! He carries a good vibe, with a great soul, and we really admire his character.
One of the most important things at weddings or any event is the food they serve.
We had a few recommendations for our Persian catering choice, but when we were trying each one of our selections, we got attracted by Mr. Sharhram's manner and hospitality first, and then when we tried his
cuisine we loved most of the food he brought for us to test for our wedding catering day. Therefore, we choose him as our caterer.
Like all other brides and grooms, we were also really concerned about our food tastes and design look, but Mr. Shahram from Shemroon restaurant made our wedding day very special with his incredible taste, food portion amount, and presentation. He went the extra mile to gain our satisfaction. Our guest loved his food also.
We are very happy about our choice, and definitely recommend him, and his restaurant for your wedding/or events.
Best,

TLDR: mid-tier kabob, good portions, skimp on sides.
Pros:
- close to my house.
- big portions (3 meals from koobideh combo).
- tomato was good
- owner seems nice.
Cons:
- no sabzi or lavash with food.
- kabob is kinda bland.
- Kabob was not charred enough.
Neutral:
- kabob is not dry or juicy
- pita was ok
Final thoughts: good in a pinch or if you’re American and don’t like spices. Otherwise highly recommend going to Mission Ranch Market. It’s like 5 mins away and much better (but much longer wait). Also this spot is better for dine-in. Can’t do that at MRM.
My friends who live in the area suggested this restaurant and I am glad we went there. I ordered Soltani and was perfect. The barg kabob was well cooked and the koobideh was juicy. By the way, don't miss the tahdig if you choose Shemroon.
