Born in Diyarbakir, Sultan came to San Diego in 2003 and quickly emerged as a restauranteur of distinction. Diligently crafting his skills into a unique style, he opened his first restaurant in El Cajon, CA N in 2009, and becoming a local San Diego favorite. Sultan has always enjoyed the attention of the media, as well as the recognition of his peers. and after 6 years Sultan opened his second restaurant in the heart of San Diego Downtown on 4th ave.

2 months agoA Delightful Turkish Treat! I had the pleasure of visiting Sultan Baklava, and it was a fantastic experience! The bakery offers a wide array of Turkish-oriented products, all of which are incredibly delicious. The authentic flavors transported me straight to Turkey. The service was exceptional, thanks to Aselin and Mina. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure that every part of my visit was enjoyable. If youโre looking for a place with great food and outstanding service, Sultan Baklava is the place to go. Highly recommended!

2 months agoGorgeous interior. Good customer service even though they were busy. The girl who helped us was very sweet and made great recommendations. Their desserts are all gorgeous, we went for pistachio baklava. And left with an array of different flavors lol This tray cost around 45$ Worth every penny ๐ฅฐ

3 months agoNice interior, clean and great service. I was greeted cheerfully almost as soon as I walked in. The young lady who helped me graciously and patiently explained the vast array of baklava options. I ordered pistachio roll, pistachio baklava, and pistachio latte. Iโm glad I only purchased two baklava as they were both so delicious that Iโm certain I would have quickly polished off any quantity. The plan was to buy two - one for now and one for later. But what had happened wasโฆ

4 months agoThe best! Incredibly delicious deserts , coffee and tea! Truly the best cheesecake Iโve ever had in my entire life. The Kunafah was super ! The service was amazing as well, and their store is very beautiful! 10/10 highly recommend.

2 weeks agoIf I could rate this restaurant and bakery more than 5 starts I definitely would! This place is absolutely amazing everything here that they make is delicious and the service is fantastic! The owners and workers are so friendly and welcoming youโd feel like there family the first time you go. I definitely recommend coming here not just for the food but for the experience and environment as well! I will definitely be coming here way more often. The word for this place is just amazing and the Turkish food here is the best Iโve ever had. The desserts are delightful. please come here I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
