2 weeks agoWe had our first meal at Taste of Persian. What a treat!! We only ordered chelo kabob koobideh this time and it surpassed our expectations. The best kabob in the Bay Area! It's worth a little travel to come here. The service is top notch, clean place, super friendly staff and the food presentation is 10 out of 10. Very impressive! We'll be back to try their other dishes. All our friends who've come here have been raving about the quality and the taste of the food. We share their sentiments.

a month agoCould not be happier with the experience! The one place where the food you get is even better than the pictures. Cheaper than a lot of other Persian food too. I came for lunch on a Tuesday. The place was quite empty and quiet, and the Persian music was nice. The experience was great from the beginning with the free jug of water at the front. The water was very pleasantly scented with rosewater. Food came promptly and was beautiful. It was a good portion served in a large flat metal pan with everything I could have wanted on the side. I got koobideh (ground beef kabob). The meat was super moist, the rice was incredibly fluffy, the bread was flavorful from the juice of the meat, and it even came with a piece of tadig! Another in the party got the chicken kabob, which was also excellent.

2 months agoWent here for the first time today, and when we walked in, it felt like a small restaurant in Shomal (northern Iran) . It is very clean . The food came out pretty quickly ,considering it's persian food that takes a while to grill. We ordered #12 koobedeh and chicken kabab with rice ,tomatoes, and Shirazi salad. It was FANTASTIC!! Melted in our mouths. Down side : They can be more enthusiastic with their customer service and do better. I will definitely try their other dishes next time and recommend you guys try this diamond in the ruff out. Quoting Haamed ,"Once you try our food, you will know how good the rest is. Our food speaks for itself. "

2 weeks agoThe manager is pretty rude and takes joy outsmarting customers. They also do not respect their hours and will blame you if you arrive half an hour before they close which is quite interesting. The food is fine though. We brought the food home not only because the atmosphere was not welcoming but also because the design is pretty lame. I'd recommend if only all other businesses are closed in town.
