Best Mediterranean food I've had in Ventura County! Everything we ordered was really good. The service was fantastic and the tables were clean. It was also very reasonably priced. This is our new go-to place for this type of food even though there are closer Mediterranean restaurants to my house. It's totally worth driving an extra food minutes for much better food.

The food is seasoned well. We ordered the family meal come with different meats and salad. Babaganoush (eggplant dip), tabbouleh salad. Baklava too. Everything was so good. Fresh and tasty. Malak was super friendly and professional. Nice casual dining.

Excellent food! I love the all the shawarma here, especially salmon and chicken. Terrific lentil soup. Best hummus I've ever had from any restaurant. Even the side salad and vegetables are on point. One of the few places without alcohol that I go out of my way for, lol. Bottom line: as long as you have functional taste buds, you'll be glad you went! Update Feb 2023 - still delicious. Had the chicken shawarma salad. Could only eat half! Generous portions. My lunch companion had the lamb skewer plate. They're wonderful. She took half fine, too!

I've been going to Baba's for a couple years now. I stumped in there while grocery shopping one day. Friendly staff, they are all related - so nice family business. I grab a lentil, clam chowder, or creamy chicken something rather made with yogurt and has lemon. It's my favorite, but I can't pronounce it. Lol... I live close by, so it's super convenient form me on my way home from work.

Although I thought the food was good, my husband begs to differ. I’d have to trust him because he has better taste in food. I do have to say that the price for pita sandwiches were too pricey. We ordered lamb and beef pita sandwich for a total of $22, no drinks YIKES! Won’t be returning because of this high priced food items. I’ve attached pictures of the new updated menu prices.
