My husband recently had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Mohamad Allaf and his all-star staff at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a radical prostatectomy, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Dr. Allaf's expertise is truly remarkable, and the surgery was a success with minimal discomfort, no painkillers taken! I was relieved to find that there was absolutely no incontinence post-surgery, a testament to his skill. Dr. Allaf's bedside manner is impeccable. He took the time to address all of our questions and concerns, providing clear explanations every step of the way. What truly sets him apart is his accessibility. He was always reachable and responsive, which gave us immense peace of mind during the entire process. We can't thank Dr. Mohamad Allaf and his team enough for their exceptional care. Our experience with him has been nothing short of outstanding, and we wholeheartedly give him a five-star rating. If you're in need of a skilled, compassionate, and accessible urologist, Dr. Allaf at Johns Hopkins Medicine is the top choice. Tom Joseph & Laurie Joseph, Ph.D.

Dr. Allaf seems to be an outstanding surgeon. Just met him today regarding the prostate cancer surgery. He explained things remarkably well and took the time to answer all my questions. Extremely professional and personable. I am super impressed and feel lucky that he'll be doing my surgery. He is the best!

The most important thing to me when being diagnosed with prostate cancer was that I had the right doctor. It's not just the removal of the cancer, but also the high risk of side affects, incontinence and erectile issues. Until the nerve sparing procedure was developed by Dr. Patrick Walsh (in the 80's), most men would rather die from the cancer than get a treatment that left them incontinent or impotent. I met with Dr, Patrick Walsh, who is now 82 years old, still practicing but not performing surgery any longer. He recommended Dr. Allaf, his #2 and one of the best, if not the best, prostate surgeon in the world. I will share that I am very happy with my decision to see Dr. Allaf and have him perform my surgery. I'm 10 days out of surgery. My cancer is gone. There is no sign of the cancer in the surrounding tissue. The catheter is out. I have no incontinence issues and I am feeling quite good, and relieved. My energy level is low, but that is to be expected. Dr. Allaf has a good interpersonal style that puts you at ease form the start. His nurse Amanda who answered many of my questions was excellent. I would have thought she was a doctor with her level of knowledge. She is responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Allaf and his team if you have prostate cancer. In fact, I would not go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Allaf and Amanda.

I am 12 days out of Robot Assisted Radical Prostatectomy. My experience so far is accurately mirrored by some other patient (Richard Hotness) of Dr. Allaf and Dr. Walsh. Dr Walsh upon post diagnosis mmeeting "enrolled" me in a basic "urology 001" class, the recommended text is Surviving Prostate Cancer by Dr. Patrick Walsh( really recommended reading for every man). Seriously so. With impeccable manners and a boat load of patience, Dr. Walsh picked Dr. Allaf for my procedure. No better choice could have been made. Dr. Allaf is your man, to the extent any human can. As your doctor, no one could possibly make you feel more at ease. Coupled with reassurance from the sage Dr. Walsh, one feels it in the bones, that despite a life of sinful behavior, God still loves you. At least, that is how I feel and I stand by it 100%. Talking with Dr. Allaf was easy, very much like one of your lifelong buddies, (you know one of those dudes who is so kind and inconsiderate at the same time, which is why the person is your best buddy). It was so easy. You could ask him anything, and I mean anything and get the most honest down to earth truthful answer. Urological questions challenge a man's dignity in terms of masculinity. My surgery turned out very well and there isn't any incontinence to report. Dr. Allaf so skillfully performed the procedure such that I can now confirm he is the best in the world, supported by an "A" team.(Don't challenge my assertions, I have pictures). Dr. Walsh is God sent, and by the hands and mind of Dr. Allaf, the Walsh excellence has a recontextualization. If any person has the opportunity to get to his procedure from Dr. Allaf, God has blessed you in very special ways. The Brady Urology Institute team is world class; Dr. Allaf is just a natural, the very best according to me, and, supported bythe world's top most 83-year old urologist. I agree. Thanks Dr. Allaf. All that stuff about Dr. Allaf nurse Amanda is true. His residents, the chief resident, the techs, just that team deserves accolades, but, for Dr. Allaf, there could not be a better thank you. For Dr. Walsh, I remain grateful . Thanks, you did it. I survived it. Praise God!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Allaf for not quite a year. While my condition isn't as serious as many of his patients he still took time to explain different options and what he thought would be best course for moving forward. He came highly recommended and I have not been disappointed.
