Abgoosht is a Persian and Mesopotamian stew. It is also called Dizi, which refers to the traditional stone crocks it is served in. Some describe it as a “hearty mutton soup thickened with chickpeas.” Ābgoosht is usually made with lamb, chickpeas, white beans, onion, potatoes, and tomatoes, turmeric, and dried lime. Other variations exist in the beans used, such as kidney beans and black-eyed peas. The ingredients are combined together and cooked until done, at which point the dish is strained. The solids are then mashed as Gusht Kubideh and served with the broth, but in a separate dish, along with flatbread. It is a form of Piti, which encompasses many similar dishes in the region.

I got the Vakil Abad-Mashad Stone Stew. Brand new domain of Persian cuisine I've never explored, and it was good. Pretty good kashke bademjan too, plus you get a lot of bread with your meal; comes in handy with the soup.

Food was good, be careful with a bill, they over charge us on 3$ (for kashk eggplant n garlic 12.99$ originally, charged 15.99$) disappointed, will not come back any more! This is wrong way to do business! P.S. Answer to the owner: My family was on Sunday at 2 pm, there is no music was there, a waiter overcharged us, after I show him a mistake he returned us 3$. The point is he works there for a while n knows prices by heart, so it was intentionally.

Place is "hidden" and unless you know about it you are for sure going to miss it, let the GPS take you there. Currently they have out door seating and take away. Food was made on time for pickup and the four different item we tried were all liked a lot. We felt they do a better job with ground meat items as oppose to meat pieces which felt dry.

Good Persian food, with a nice outdoor space. The indoor was open but we didn’t use it because of Covid. The food was good and their service was also good. It wasn’t the best Persian food I have had in the area but it worths trying! Their Barg Kabab was better than their Koobideh. The owner also stopped by our table and was very kind.
